Voor onze wandelweek in de Morvan heb ik dit middel tegen teken aangeschaft. In het begin ruikt het een beetje naar groene zeep, maar dat verdwijnt snel. Daarna merk je er niets meer van. Tot nu toe heb ik tijdens onze wandelingen nog geen enkele teek op Tommie of op mijzelf gevonden. Dat geeft toch een gerust gevoel tijdens het wandelen door bossen en hoog gras.

Ik heb verschillende dingen geprobeerd om de teken en vlooien bij mijn honden weg te houden. Van kralenbandjes tot knoflooksnoepjes. Niks werkte goed genoeg en bij mijn honden ga ik geen chemische spullen of gifstoffen gebruiken. Bij JC Pets heb ik nou dit volledig natuurlijk bandje gevonden dat echt ontzettend goed werkt. Sinds ze de bandjes om hebben, heb ik geen een teek bij ze uit moeten trekken. Top product!

De etherische oliën anti teken en vlooien band werd vlot geleverd. De geur van de oliën is niet té overheersend. Helaas na 2 weken wel een teek gevonden dus adviseer om zelf te blijven controleren.

Een maand na de aanschaf van deze vlooien- en tekenband ben ik geen teek meer tegengekomen.
Aangezien ik voor de aanschaf 5 teken in een week vond, denk ik dat deze band uitstekend werkt.
Ik dacht eerst dat de band te kort zou zijn voor mijn uit de kluiten gewassen witte Zwitserse herder (52 kilo), maar hij past prima.

Wist niet dat deze vlooienband zo naar citroen stinkt en ga je nadenken of het wel goed is voor je hondje. Door een fout heb ik deze besteld , anders neem ik altijd Seresta vlooienband voor kleine honden , deze stink niet zo naar de citroen.
Ik hoop dat het goed met die citroengeur en geen allergische reacties opwekt.
