Toos reageert heel goed. Ze heeft de band niet constant om, maar als ze weer even terugvalt in het oude patroon, hoef ik de band alleen maar te pakken en ze weet wat ervan haar verwacht wordt. Ik ben er tot nu toe heel blij mee

Vanaf het moment dat wij hem in gebruik namen, werkte het top. Mijn hond was stil (en de buren dus ook). Op die manier konden we fijn trainen. Helaas is het gisteren weer begonnen en blaft hij er nu doorheen. Dus op zoek naar een andere oplossing, terwijl we het onderliggende probleem ook oplossen. Maar ik raad hem iedereen aan!

Ik heb een teckel gekruist met een keeshond welke echt alle eigenwijze en volhardende trekken heeft die bij deze rassen passen. Hoewel hij niet lijkt te snappen waar het geluid vandaan komt, heeft hij wel door dat hij dit zelf veroorzaakt. Hij is al in korte tijd een stuk rustiger geworden.

Is deze blafband diervriendelijk?
De JC Pets blafbanden geven geen schokken. Op het moment dat je hond blaft zal de blafband bij de eerste 2 blaffen een pieptoon geven en daarna ook een trilling. Het is niet de bedoeling dat je hond hier angstig door raakt, maar dat je hond even afgeleid raakt, waardoor hij stopt met blaffen. Op deze manier zal de hond op de lange termijn het blaffen volledig afleren.
Is deze blafband geschikt voor mijn hond?
Deze blafband is geschikt voor alle honden met een nekgrootte tussen de 20 en 52 cm.
Hoelang duurt het totdat mijn hond het blaffen heeft afgeleerd?
Dit is heel verschillend per hond. Elke hond is namelijk natuurlijk anders in zijn gedrag. Sommige honden stoppen meteen met blaffen en bij andere kan het een aantal weken duren. Mocht jouw hond niet meer reageren op de blafband dan raden wij aan de blafband even een week niet te gebruiken en daarna weer een week wel. Blijf dit herhalen, totdat het blaffen volledig is afgeleerd.
Op welk gevoeligheidsniveau moet ik de blafband zetten?
Dit is verschillend per situatie. Ben je met je hond buiten met andere honden in de buurt, dan raden we aan het gevoeligheidsniveau wat lager te zetten. Ben je binnen met je hond, dan mag het gevoeligheidsniveau weer wat hoger. Het is vooral belangrijk om dit te testen, want elke hond heeft een ander blafvolume.
